Transition from T.S.P. to (T.O.R.N.)
The Sad Project 2003
This era i was writing music for a side project know as "The Sad project" This was my crazy Punk/Metal stage. I had tons of fun with this project. But I also had music i was working on in which made no sense to me, but i did put it all together one day. As i left the band that i adored, the band that developed my guitar skills and musicianship "Acid Rainn" in January, i started "The Sad Project" with a "Fozzy's Hero" founder and ex-drummer Vinnie Amatuzzo, creating a pop punk/metal group. During the time i had another side project i was working on with a different twist to music and poetry, more progressive in a sense, and this is when the concept of (T.O.R.N.) was born.
Later i decided to flee the California and moved to New York City to basically "find myself" and adapt to a different life style. I lived with my biological Mother Kathy and her husband Tom in West Babylon, Long Island New York. Here i left music completely to work. I stopped drinking and using drugs so in a sense it was my rehabilitation. It was a life saver in a way. Who knows what path i would have gone down if i would have not ran away.
